The Grapes are grown in the Ortona, San Salvo, Pollutri in Abruzzo. 

The vines are delicately handled in the vineyard with some stem stripping and crushing, left for maceration for 15 days with temperature controlled fermentation, this helps extract all the flavours, tannins and colour from the skins. 

Ruby red in colour with garnet highlights. On the nose this wine is intense, persistent and fruity with a strong aroma of wild berries. The palate presents full bodied, well balanced, slightly tannic with a clean aftertaste that lingers along.
Easy to drink however definitely pairs with salami, rich main courses, meat and cheese.
